Bombay Tandoor - Vienna

My dinner at this store was not as good as I thought it'd be. The food was average, tandoori mixed platter was not as good as other subcontinent restaurants in the area. Portion sizes were not as large as other locations in the area. Based on feedback from friends their lunch buffet is pretty good.

It was Buffet style. Which was great of our group! great food. They also do catering.

I came here for Mother’s Day, and it was disappointing. Seems the restaurant had trouble keeping up with the capacity or was unprepared. The food was bland and the deserts were limited. I have been here before on a non-holiday and it was excellent! This time, they bought cake from the grocery store versus variety traditional Indian dessert-lots of paper plates, cups and utensils. It felt like the emphasis was more about turning tables than holding the quality standard I know this restaurant is capable of. For $35 per person buffet, I think they could have done much better. Staff was great but overwhelmed. I suggest NOT going on a major holiday.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent and portions were appropriate. Ambience had a nice feel to it and there was a Day 1 wedding party beginning so we got to see a lot of people from the culture which I know little about. Very nice experience, will definitely go back again.
