The waiter in charge of us took a very long time before asking us what we wanted to order as drinks,...his English was not good either (something curious in an amusement park) and he was unfriendly towards us. When the beers finally arrived... several wasps started coming towards us. One of them was too bold, it chose to fly too close to my beer and ended up drowning in it... poor thing and poor me... for there was still half the beer left to drink. When I asked the waiter to see what had happened he started yelling “peanut!”, at first we did not fully comprehend what he was saying (let’s remember his English was precarious, to say the least), but upon understanding what he was saying we asked him to look deeper and explained to him that peanuts are not black and yellow and that they usually lack wings. He was indifferent to our explanations and continued yelling “peanut” in a very rude manner, when I finally told him: “this is not a freaking peanut”, he used his last move: he put his hand on the edge of my beer glass as a filter of sorts and proceeded to pour on the floor what remained of my beer. We could not believe what this man was doing, he was pouring beer all over the floor and in the process stained my shoes. When he finally had the dead wasp on his fingers, he uttered the unthinkable: “See, Peanut!”. We immediately asked for the bill and he charged us the full amount for the beer which had a wasp in it and which he had poured all over the floor. What an awful experience...
This is located on the edge of an amusement park. You buy your ticket then you go through a history/ museum of the Ferris wheel. This was interesting and for all ages. Views are good , but I must say I’m not great with heights...or object that swing etc. But hubby liked it. We went early before the crowds. Restaurant around corner expensive and waiters didn’t seem bothered that we were there. We got up and left went to McDonalds for breakfast .
