The owner used faux meat to make the pad ka phrao, which was surprisingly good and only cost 15000 kip. The restaurant is small with only 3 tables, and the owner seemed eager to please. They also sell dried goods such as spices, soy meat pieces, mushrooms, and seaweed, as well as finished pastes like Tom Yum and Szechuan, and frozen goods. I recently visited a small restaurant with no written menu and limited communication with the owner. However, they recommended a delicious meal, pad ka phrao, which was made with mock meat and priced at only 15000 kip. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with only three tables, and the owner seemed eager to please. In addition to the pad ka phrao, there were also dried soy meat pieces, mushrooms, and seaweed available. Some pre-packaged pastes (such as tom yum and Szechuan) were also offered for sale. I highly recommend this hidden gem, updated as of December 31, 2020.
