One of the best bars in Vientiane! Excellent consistency, unlike other bars, if you order the same cocktail at the same night and it would taste different. Food is also great. Although some may consider it expensive to ensure their location and quality of their cocktails and foods (the way to do so). On rare occasions, if the leading Japanese bartender is on a vacation, only a selected number of cocktails would be available (kudos to them for the recognition that cocktails that are not up to standards should not be served. If you are not in the mood for cocktails, they store a collection of whisky, beer, wine and Japanese Sake/Sochu. Only on the bottom is the partial reduction in recent years (a curse of a frequent customer to notice these things, I guess.

Best place in vientiane, great bartenders, amazing drinks and Japanese level of professionalism when it comes to a cocktail bar, great ambience. Quality comes with a price.

It is a very nice bar and it has an excellent cocktail menu. It is very professional and the Balalaika I had was delicious which you would expect when paying 60000 kip. It just feels a little uninspired. I was hoping for something a bit unusual on the cocktail list but I could not find anything. Maybe I was looking at the wrong list.
