Sited on a busy street in Vigo, I first stopped for a cup of tea sitting at one of the tables outside on this bustling shopping street. It was a great place to stop and watch the world go by. When venturing inside I was impressed by the look and feel of the place and later had an opportunity to return for a light lunch which again I ate outside. A charming, helpful waitress deciphered the menu del dia, which is not printed, for me. I enjoyed a delicious lunch of salad nicoise (though not as you'd know it with not a lettuce leaf in sight! followed by some kind of pan cooked fish with delicious potatoes and salad finished off with a carpaccio of pineapple. All of this, including a bottle of water was 10 euros! For me, this place was worth a thousand more than those plastic coated menu places full of tourists that you see everywhere. In fact, I'd say that everyone here appeared to be local. I thought it was great and I'd definitely recommend it.
