Always good food, slow food enjoyment good wine and definitely not for screaming kids running around A pleasure

We wanted a special meal with traditional Portuguese food for a celebration while visiting Vila do Bispo and were not disappointed. Friendly host welcomed us without a reservation. The food was delicious (clams in a simple but flavoursome dressing to start; prawn, pork and chorizo stew with rice and a side of veg for main). We asked for a wine recommendation which was delicious and local. The puddings were also fabulous. We were not made to feel rushed and the service was excellent but not overbearing. Loos were also worth a visit! We did not mention that we were celebrating yet were made to feel special. I would certainly return if visiting again.

Family restaurant in the center of Vila do Bispo. The service is kind and efficient. Very good the scrambled eggs with “morcela”. The octopus cataplasma was also quite good.

Very good tasty food. Recomendations from the chef are defenetly a go to! Service is relatively fast and crew is very welcoming!

We had an excellent evening after a 10 minute drive from our hotel in Sagres. My partner had the wild boar and I had the shrimp and curry, both of which were thoughtfully prepared, spiced really well and freshly. Dessert was almond cake ad fig nougat. All the food and wine were among the best we had in Portugal, and the friendly service was icing on the cake.
