In three days in Porto we had lunch twice at this little restaurant. The fish was so fresh and nicely grilled especially the sardines and the squid. The service was ok but keep in mind that this is more like a traditional bar than a...restaurant so the service is informal.

Across from the Pizza Hut--why anyone would go to Pizza Hut in Porto I don't know--you'll see a row a little restaurants. They are quite simple with just a few chairs out front and not much space inside. The toilets are up a tiny winding...staircase. These little restaurant/bars usually have a fresh grilled fish dish with potatoes and vegetables for under 10 euros and acceptable wine for not much either. It's not haute cuisine, but it is quite good, informal and inexpensive. The service is good and friendly--with sincerity. We ate here twice.

We stopped for a quick lunch. The restaurant is an average eartery for quick bites along the waterfront. You won't rave about the food, but you won't complain. The francesinha sauce had a nice spice to it, which we all enjoyed.
