Frango Sobre Rodas - Vila Nova de Gaia

Uma das melhores descobertas que fizemos! Comemos meia dose de cozido (que dava perfeitamente para duas pessoas) e meia dose de lombinhos. A comida estava excelente!! Cada meia dose ficou apenas por 6 euros. Acompanhamos com uma sangria e no fim pedimos mouse de Oreo. Tudo excelente e barato!! Serviço rápido e familiar. Voltaremos certamente, várias vezes.

Our experience was great. We went there without expectations and got a full homemade meal with drinks for 6€ per person. The service was friendly and owned by a family, but expect that not a lot of people speak English but the chef ! She made us try different grilled meats, the delicious homemade sauces and a tasty Portuguese winter soup. Great experience ! Nothing fancy but delicious !

This is a husband and wife run local restaurant that happened to be close to our accommodation. ...the wife (I am so sorry...I forgot to ask your name) speaks good English and was great in recommending dishes. We went back several times as the soups, salads, meat and fish off the charcoal grill were all flavorsome and fresh. It was also an easy stop for us when getting off the train in the evenings after a long day of sightseeing in Porto: it is directly opposite the Vila Nova de Gaia station. Our only problem was that we kept checking the bill because it was so ridiculously cheap (by Aussie standards) that it was hard to believe that they had not left something off the tab! Our last day there we had soup (delicious spinach), bread, grilled fish and sardines, salad and drinks and it came to €12 for the 2 of us. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Super restaurant ! de la cuisine maison ... une bonne ambiance! et une serveuse (épouse du patron qui a annoncé son mariage ! qui ne savait que faire pour être agréable et d'une bonté pour toutes les épreuves ! On revient demain !

Fiquei surpreendida por uma churrasqueira  tão comum, sem opção vegetariana no menu, se prontificar a fazer beringelas gratinadas para a pessoa vegetariana do grupo. Eu já optei pelo grelhado misto, que estava bastante bom para o preço total da refeição. Staff atencioso, serviço rápido.
