I thought that the name hamburgology and the marketing suggested an artisan style burger and the photos looked quite nice. I ordered the Champignon (with no bread). With this you get some rice and crisps (yes really since when have crips been the ideal accompaniment for a burger). I opted for an additional salad and skipped the rice as it did not look appetising. The burger was served immediately (which contradicts their 'not fast food ' tag line) so it was clearly pre cooked and kept warm. It was dry and very unimpressive, with a tiny bit of mushroom sauce. The crisps were soggy and the salad was a simple lettuce, tomato and onion in a bowl. Overall this was simply a cheap and nasty burger without a bun and does not deserve the 'hamburgology ' hype. I recommend giving it a miss.
Really poor cold burgers with a cold egg and soggy crisps ... worst food I’ve had yet in Portugal. From order till arrived it took 45 seconds so obviously reheating a cooked product
I needed something substantial other then pastries, bread flour/sugar based ingredients. Enter the simple burger. Cooked nicely and delivered on a bed of greens. The big surprise was that it came with “chips.” I was expecting fries, but, no, real, honest to goodness fresh made potato chips. Not greasy, not salty. Warm and very tasty. A nice discovery at noon on a rainy day. And I am not normally a mall person. : . And exceptionally friendly, efficient service.
First time visit to the Parque Nascentre, it was spotless. Had lunch at H3 New Hamburgology, we had the Benedict Burger it was delicious, cooked fresh to order, served with rice or crisps no bread, the best burger I have ever tasted, served by the chef a lovely young man.
The whole concept is very simple and not very original. Still, it tasted pretty good.
