Beautiful restaurant with delicious weeping celebrity was shown our group enthusiastic for our meal. we were treated with first-class service and kitchen. guilherme is a talented sommelier and gracious host. he has treated us with impeccable service for our lunch. so many unforgettable. only the amuse bouche and the brotservice were worth the trip. General portions on appetizers and entrees have only improved our experience even further. dessert was also delicious. trust the sommelier to select their pairing for each cure. he did a brilliant job. he was very generous with his time. it was really the highlight of our trip.

This place was recommended by the folks at Quinta Seara D'Ordens, and they gave us good advice. The soups and appetizers were especially good, and they had a huge wine list (specializing in Douro Valley wines).

The building with decoration in dark tones benefits from a special light coming from large windows.The service is impeccable but with few smiles, ...In my mind remained the tasty and colorful desserts !

This restaurant is Snobbish with a capital S. I arrived with my family for lunch during dining hours, and there were empty tables, everyone receiving their food, and plenty of waitstaff. We were told we could not be served, even though some of the empty tables were not reserved. It was such a disappointment, and I expected a lot more after seeing such good reviews here. I thought the review below was just a one-off, but I guess this place is just plane rude.

We have visited twice in the last week for lunch, choosing the set 3 course menu at 12.5 euros, which changes daily, and has generous portions, beautiful presentation, and interesting dishes based on traditional Portuguese cuisine, but maybe with a modern twist. Service is absolutely outstanding with knowledgable English speaking staff. Complimentary bread and olives, Wine is only 2 euros a glass and coffee 1 euro. Has to be the most amazing value. Certainly the best meal we ate in Portugal, and the decor is wonderful. Restaurant is easy to find near the station, lots of parking right outside.
