O Recanto - Vila Real de Santo António

Although the service was slow (about 1 hour to get the main dishes, the soups were quick , this was probably due to the 3 rooms being full. However, it was worth the wait, the sardines were great, as well as the desserts (in my case the torta de laranja . On top of that the service was attentive, with affordable prices. Everyone was satisfied, we can surely return!

Realy good food , we had sea bream ,octopus , cuttlefish. House wine was good . Looking forward to returning next time .

We probably got our best coffee here in our time in Monte Gordo. Coffee and a couple of natas, very nice little stop off.

We weren't all that hungry and went for a light dinner. The cream of vegetables soup was delicious and warmed us up on a cold night. The clams were absolutely perfect, with lots of garlic and cilantro and plenty of sauce for dipping the freshly made bread. The service was incredibly fast. Very attentive and polite wait staff were on to of everything from greeting us at the door to ringing up the bill. The only downside was the annoying TV with the news program. I know it's common here, but it's annoying.

We were searching for a good restaurant for dinner. But as we were with 9 people, we knew it would not be easy to find a table. When we asked Renata if she had a table for us, she directly started putting tables together for us and made us feel welcome straight away. The food was for each one of us, amazing.
