Great food experience with all the flavors from the North of Portugal! We highly recomend the Veal Steak or the Baby Lamb, also the Massada de Cherne is the best ever! Dont miss it! Good selection of wines and spirits! The deserts are mouth watering and to cry for more! The Staff was great! Thank you

This restaurant specialises in dishes from Northern Portugal and when we used to pass by, it always appeared quite busy.We decided to pay it a visit during our first week and chose two speciality dishes of pork and beef both of which were very good.The female owner/manageress was very attentive and the restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. We enjoyed our visit so much we decided to have another meal there during our second weeks holiday.This however turned out to be a different dining experience.One waitress serving with little help from a male person who appeared to be the owner.He stood talking to the couple on the next table to ours throughout our whole meal which proved very irritating given the tables were quite close.Our meal was disappointing.My steak was overcooked and covered in a creamy tasteless sauce accompanied by incipid chips and vegetables to match..The waitress struggled to cope with the customers and we were left for thirty minutes waiting for our bill as the male owner/manager decided to take a break outside with a half bottle of wine.It was a pity really because we enjoyed our first visit....If you do therefore decide to pay it a visit make sure the female owner/manageress is working that night.
