Catering La Gran Familia

On our way from Evora, Portugal to Seville, Spain, my wife and I stopped at this restaurant/rest area for a break and a bite to eat. Since we would be spending the next couple of weeks in Spain and I wasn’t very hungry, we decided to just share a simple grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Regular ham and sliced cheese were grilled on white bread; simple but delicious and just the right bite for this day. They also offered various versions of the iconic bocadillo which looked to be very tasty. The restaurant is spacious and is set up like a cafeteria. Even during a busy rush, the service was friendly and fast. There was ample seating inside as well as a covered patio/terrace. Since it was a nice day, we decided to eat out on the patio/terrace. The restaurant is clean and the restrooms were also functioning well and clean. A highlight of visiting this restaurant was meeting the “mascot” on the patio/terrace a beautiful parrot and greeted all of the guests who passed by. This was a relaxing first stop in Espana!

We have celebrated our wedding with them and the total success. all of high quality, many options and attentive to any detail. give thanks especially to noelia and sara, patients and always available.

Nice place, good and affordable food, good amount. the waiters too young, a lot of train for a short lane, are learning and taking cache. one expects a little more professionalism, but, as I say, they're learning and we have to be patient.
