Mezza Luna Pizzeria

I can’t believe I’ve never eaten at their restaurant before tonight living my whole life in the area! After loving Limni for the time they were open, I heard that they were the same owners as Mezza Luna so we had to give it a try. The food was amazing! I got the veal saltimbocca which was delicious. The mesclun salad was great with a delicious homemade vinaigrette, and they had the same amazing affogatos that I fell in love with at Limni! Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend their restaurant for a nice night out, and their takeout for a cozy night in.

Terrible! I ordered a Mezza Luna salad and for $12 I got the tiniest portion of mainly beets. If it 's going to be that small don 't put it such a large container and definitely don 't charge over ten dollars for it. Then when I called to ask about it, the woman I spoke to was rude about it. Yep, that 's the Mezza Luna salad. That 's what YOU ordered. In a snarky tone. Guess I 'll be finding a new Friday pizza place because I 've been going here for years now and have never been treated so poorly or given a child 's portion covered up as an adult 's. I mean it was half as much as the pizza I ordered and literally smaller than my hand.

Always a great place for a slice or formal lunch/dinner.

Their food is the best in the county! Everything is made fresh and is delicious!

Having had a dozen plus meals there I always bragged how fantastic it was. I did also try to email their email but after a few days with no response I have not choice but to say here. I went this past weekend I forgot my saw! I ordered the Veal as did my friend. We could not cut this and we did put our forks down but it took the waitress a while to check on us and we were starved. When she came and asked I replied do you really want to know? I do not believe she was not a seasoned server. I showed her and she hesitated not knowing what to really do. She did bring it to the back and asked if I wanted something else, however by then it was way to late. Sadly two lunches and prior to our being served my friend ordered a to go for her daughter of veal We asked her what did the cook say and she stated the cook was cooking so I told the prep person. I asked if the manager knew and she said do you want me to tell him? We replied we would like too. The manager happened to be the younger man by the Pizza counter, and was coughing into his hands our whole visit. I brought the issue of this terrible veal to their attention and he had a few excuses we pound our veal thin Yes it should be put not a hockey puck! maybe it was cooked to long The cook should not had let it hit the dining area! I am not so sure I can return nor recommend. All my prior visits were fantastic. Sadly not this. Nor how they handled it.
