Jreck Subs - Village of Champlain

Great base with good toppings and delicious buffalo chicken. Very fresh and quite full. Brownie was probably the best I had for years. Thick icing, soft and damp inside.

Subs are prepared while watching. The food is fresh. Collection of model cars. Fast and friendly service.

Good lunch. Great offer. Subway similar, but a step up, Subroll was fantastic fresh. Meatballs delicious and sauce salty but good. Brownie and cookies do not seem to be homemade. Very nice people.

I try to make sure I eat at a Jrecks at least a couple of times a year if only for the sense of nostalgia, this was the go to sub shop in Northern NY where I grew up and I'm glad to say it hasn't changed, they taste exactly like I remember as a kid. Staff has always been friendly at every one I've been to, this shop included, even though it was busy and they only had a couple of employees on. Defintiely recommend trying them out, though I know that I really don't need to say that to anyone that grew up with them because they already know and go there anyways!
