Clipper Inn - Village of Clayton

Excellent food, excellent service, great ambience! Came for a jubilee dinner and we are very happy with all our experience. Our server was familiar with the menu and very friendly. We could say that she really likes to work there, which is a good sign. We had a reservation and arrived on a Friday before the big rush at 5:00. I had her main rib (big cut) and it was great! My wife had her Boston Cod and she loved it too. You serve warm bread with diving oil when you sit, which is a beautiful touch. We both had their roasted veggie side and they were really good. The last nice note was the fact that they have released a free dessert since it was our anniversary. Great meal, great service to eat great place!!

We had a delicious dinner... Beautiful atmosphere on the terrace, our server had a fantastic personality.... Shrimp scampi, scallops, Chicken Alfredo... After dinner... a must! Loved everything!

Very nice motel with hotel quality. Dog-friendly - no carpets. Clean, calm, no smell! You can run AC or open windows. Nice neighborhood too. Morning walk with my pup, enjoyed the flowers arrangements around the square. Near the riverfront, in downtown Clayton.

Our family would not go anywhere else to eat on the thousands of islands to celebrate a special occasion! The Clipper Inn never disappoints with its exquisite cuisine and nautical ambience. We sunk out on the beautiful terrace tonight and can't wait. Andrea went over and over catering to all our needs with the warmest smile and friendly personality. Thanks again for another special memory!

Food was good, my dish was slightly under seasoned. Service was great. Make your reservations before showing up. Would recommend.
