I just have to say... this restaurant always exceeds my expectations! My husband and I have never had a bad meal, whether together or individually. Our absolute favorite dish? The French Dip. It's simply mouthwateringly delicious. The ambiance is fantastic—a relaxed bar/pub vibe with elevated cuisine. The staff here are genuine, friendly, and down-to-earth. Seriously, you should come here and enjoy a meal!

The baby back ribs were exactly what I wanted after a day of hiking, and I devoured them expressly. My date's choice of ribeye steak left much to be desired, but we both liked the shoestring fries, and I gave him some of my ribs, and he agreed they were very good. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunny weather, and the waiters were friendly and helpful.

After a tiring hike, we were really hungry and decided to search for burgers, which led us to this diner. It’s a classic American diner with a bar. We arrived around 1 pm and found a decent crowd, so we chose to sit at the bar. The atmosphere was clean and well-maintained. As for the food, I’d give it a 3 out of 5. I ordered a fried chicken burger with sweet potato fries (which came with an extra charge). The fries were really good, but I found the chicken lacking in seasoning, making it taste quite bland. On the other hand, my friend enjoyed their beef burger. Unfortunately, the service also earned a 3 out of 5. It was extremely slow; we waited 45 minutes for our order and noticed that customers who arrived after us were served sooner. On a positive note, the restrooms were well-kept. Overall, this place might be a convenient option for a busy lunch, especially given its location away from downtown, which many hikers seem to frequent after their adventures.

J Murphys looks like a pub and you may question if it will be a good experience or not... but ... It is. Everything we ordered tasted really good the burgers and the regular and sweet potato fries were fried with the perfect crunch. The tuna nicoise was cooked and presented beautifully. The service was great. Our server was attentive, prepared, and warm. The ambiance at J Murphys is relaxed and chill. This is a place I would visit again.

The short rib grilled cheese was absolutely fantastic! The meat was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The onion rings and fries were just okay. The servers were friendly and attentive. We chose to sit outside, but the interior of the restaurant looked very welcoming as well.
