This coffee shop falls short of expectations, relying more on its ambiance and friendly staff than on the quality of its products. I've rarely encountered such unprofessionalism in a business. I'd love to support it since I live nearby, but I’m consistently disappointed. They open at 7, but don’t count on them being ready to serve customers right away. They prepare only a small number of pastries, and they rarely restock them. However, if you prioritize friendly service over quality, this could be the right spot for you.
I ordered a chai tea but forgot to specify that I wanted it iced, so I received a warm chai instead. I tasted it and really enjoyed it. My two friends also got their drinks, and we were relaxing and savoring our choices. The barista came over to our table, and when I mentioned I forgot to ask for it iced, he kindly offered to make me an iced chai. From now on, this will be my go-to spot! I kept the warm chai he made me and told him I loved the extra flavor—it had a richer taste than what I've experienced at other places, which often seem watered down. This one really had that authentic chai flavor! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10
Very lovely local coffee shop with a fascinating history, I've enjoyed them for decades. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Mocha Breve
The restaurant offers house-made pastries and is dog-friendly indoors! The furniture is very comfortable and made by Stickley. They also roast their own beans.
