Chutney Masala - Village of Irvington

My wife and I came here tonight for the second time and just like last time we were not disappointed! The food is absolutely amazing with many different choices, it is packed with flavors and the portions are very generous. The staff was very kind and had good recommendations. We sat outside and watched the sunset on the Hudson which was perfect. A special mention to the man who took care of our table tonight. We forgot our credit card on the table and he jumped in his car to catch us down the road and give it back to us before we even noticed anything. Much appreciated !

My dad took me to a place in long island that he loved, and it was truly good. We found this place after having Claudy's and wanting to find more Bib Gourmand places, and this is a hell of a find. Tandoori chicken is the best. A menu with unique regional cuisine I've never seen, and worth the adventure of spinning your finger and pointing at the menu.

Good enough food, ambiance and nice people to definitely return. The spices and side sauces were clearly home ground and fresh, which is often not true elsewhere. Spinach saag rich and well seasoned. I would however try another lamb dish other than the Salli Botti Zardello lamb stew, which was gloppy salty without flavor and lamb not tender; probably I will try the lamb korma or the lamb chops tandoori since the chicken tandoori was tasty and came with a nice refreshing little pile of a simple salad. And the sweet peshawari naan was unappealingly red and the almond extract overwhelmed the coconut and anything else in the filling. The street food appetizers we had were yummy and we will try others too. Thank you for the lovely Sunday evening meal out.

Perfect on Memorial Day evening for a meal to catch up with a friend. Unobtrusive but prompt service, excellent tandoori seafood, a nice NZ white, and quiet enough for real conversation. Can't ask for better from a favorite neighborhood restaurant.
