I'm a big fan of Focaccia, love their bread, their pastries and their pizza. I guess I love it all. My favorites are definitely semolina baguette and the prosciutto and provolone loaf . They seem to be only open on the weekend right now and their hours are a little wonky. I hope they will open for more hours so I can eat more bread! You have to go to the BroadStreetBagelCo.com/bakery to see a list of all of their goodies.
Hello from sunny Florida ? Our sweet Aunt sent us the most beautiful and delicious Christmas cookies from Focaccia Italian Bakery for Christmas ? You can taste the quality of the ingredients and love that went into every cookie 10 out of 10 highly recommend !!
Up until recently there was no locally baked Italian bread that was of the quality taste of what I remembered from my youth on the Lower East Side in NYC. There is now. I've been here twice now, the products I bought both time were exceptional .Of course the namesake focaccia is great, but also the other breads I have tasted. The sesame twist, and prosciutto in particular were outstanding . As a kid I'd break off the end of the loaf and eat it on my way home from the bakery. Did the same with the sesame twist as I walked back to my car and was transported back to First Avenue in Manhattan decades ago.
Friday, 2/19/2021. Was looking forward to trying some focaccia this morning. The sign on the window says the bakery opens at 8 am. No problem it's 8:23 am. I try the door. Locked. There's an employee inside I look at him he looks at me he ignores me. I wait a while. Nothing happens. Not a great first impression.
