We stopped by on our way back to Canada and had a great experience. The atmosphere was inviting, featuring two patios and good music playing in the background. There were plenty of locals enjoying their time outside. The salsa was freshly made, and the chili cheese nacho platter was so massive that two of us struggled to finish it. They also had some craft beer on tap, including Switchback from Vermont. In a sea of fast food joints, this place was a fantastic discovery!

The food, service, and portion sizes were all outstanding! Kudos to the staff at Jake's for a fantastic job.

The staff was very friendly, and the bartender was charming (even for a snowflake!). The garlic salsa chips paired with the spicy salsa were fantastic!

Last night, six of us went out to dinner. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but the food took an incredibly long time to arrive from the kitchen. We were puzzled by the delay since there weren't many other customers in the restaurant. While we appreciated the tasty salsa they provided, the chips were in tiny, crushed pieces, making them difficult to eat—why serve chips like that? The food arrived at different times, which meant we couldn’t all enjoy our meals together. Although the flavors were decent, I would say the food was only average overall. We had been excited to try the "new" menu after seeing so many pictures on Facebook, but we left feeling quite disappointed. We understand that every place can have an off night, so we plan to give it another try, hoping for better service from the kitchen and improved food quality.
