Maplefields - Village of Malone

The store is clean and well-stocked, with a professional yet fast service. They offer a wide selection of snacks and beverages, along with first aid supplies. Additionally, there's windshield washer fluid available and a small grocery aisle.

The bathrooms are clean, private, spacious, and gender-neutral, with clear indicators for availability. I do wish they had paper towels instead of air dryers, but I suppose those are more modern and efficient. The chicken tenders are absolutely incredible, prepared in just four minutes by shiny, boxy robots operated by friendly staff. The gas pumps are functional and well-organized. Although this place is on the east side of Malone and I live to the west, I'll definitely make a detour here from now on. It's a rest stop done right, and I wish all the highways had places like this!

The food here is fantastic, but they should bring back more wraps, like the garlic and tomato basil ones they used to offer. The plain wrap feels a bit too doughy, and the spinach wrap is a little too dry for my taste.

I was thrilled to see that this location had been remodeled like my favorite Raybrook station. Unfortunately, my experience was not as positive. The staff was rude and unprofessional. The checkout is now self-serve only, and the employee on duty seemed frustrated and inconvenienced while having to mention that. It appeared that discussing a personal matter with a fellow staff member took priority over providing good customer service.

Wonderful Cafe. We've eaten at the one in Ray Brook and couldn't wait for this one to open. Steak and cheese is really good. Better than Mo's Pub and $20 for my husband and myself as to the $50 at Mo's and the food was much better.
