Absolutely the most cozy environment of all North Shore restaurants. Feeling a real home away from home. We had the Knockwurst and Bratwurst and the Veal Cordon Blue. All were incredibly delicious and the staff was very warm and welcoming. I'll be back soon!

Food was delicious, service was absolutely fantastic. I've never been there, I'm a big fan now. I missed a really good German restaurant, that's one of two big German restaurants I finally found. I'm pampered because I'm originally from Brooklyn, just went to the best German restaurants in Queens. I recommend Pumpernickel in Northport.

A Northport institution. Quiet and comfortable, with tables quite far apart, which allows for a quiet conversation. We had the most charming and accommodating server, Marlene, who was there for 49 years. The saucer was delicious, like the apple strudel.
