Nyack Diner - Village of Nyack

I ate here a Sunday early. They were welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. It took a while to get our order taken as most people chat as the place was not busy yet. Our breakfast was well cooked and my coffee cup was never empty. I thought the bill was higher than most local breakfast places . I liked the experience and I'm sure I'll come back sometime. Hogans feels like a reliable diner. Too bad this place is hidden, I lived in Nyack for two years and often bought over the street in Olde World and never knew that the place existed.

Nice place. I like the place. I stopped for breakfast this morning. The diner is large and bright and welcoming and I was warmly welcomed and offered a newspaper when I arrived. Coffee just arrived. I chose the Omelette of Hogan. I tend to order items named after the restaurant, expecting it to be a signature dish. He had bacon, cheese, green paprika, potatoes and maybe a small onion. I found it dry, I think that with pieces of potatoes in the omelet contributed to this condition. It was probably not really her signature or the most popular dish. The omelette also came with potatoes, domestic frits in my case. The size was good. I suspect they have other dishes that would have been more to my desires, it looks like the kind of place that would serve excellent food. Service was very good, the Omelette arrived less than 10 minutes after order, and my coffee cup was never empty. You can also be Rocklands Favorite Diner as indicated on your menu.

On my first visit, I enjoyed the food; I had maduros with rice and beans, which were delicious. The decor was vibrant and unique with its red accents. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a peaceful spot for lunch. I would definitely recommend this place!

Good service and good lunch specialties here. I had a really nice grilled salmon Caesar salad with a cup of brilliant Matzah ball soup.

A delightful alternative to the outrageously priced restaurant at Hotel Nyack. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was served hot and delicious. They were more than willing to keep your coffee refilled, which added a nice touch! It felt like a genuine diner experience. They also offered a tempting selection of Spanish dishes on their brief menu.
