Cravin Jamaican Cuisine Ossining

Craven's was one of the best Caribbean food places in Westchester. I don't know what is going on as of late, but I was highly disappointed at what I was served the other day. I ordered two pieces of whiting fish, which is something I order frequently. The person who served me stated that the fish was kind of skimpy, and so an extra piece was added. I was grateful for the gesture and didn't even bother to look at what she was talking about. When I got home, I grabbed the smallest piece from the bag and was taken back on how small the fish was. I proceeded to pull-out the other pieces and was in dismay on what I was given. The other two pieces weren't much bigger than the piece I initially pulled out. I grabbed some beef jerky to measure the scale of the fish visually and wasn't happy at all!

I bought Jerk chicken half for $11.95 fee(credit card and there were only 4 small pieces. 3 of them were so burnt that I couldn't eat the skin. It tasted much saltier than before. (The picture came out better than it actually was.

Some of the best fried chicken thighs I've ever had ?! Nice atmosphere and tables to dine in if you'd like.

A community gem. Phenomenal food and the owner is just an outstanding person and community
