Ruth's Chris Steak House

Francoise was a wonderful man. He completely tended to every need we had. He was very polite and helpful with everything. Robert was a good host with plenty of information about the food and drinks. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Food was great, service not so much. Service was inferior to Ruth's Chris in Worcester Ma Despite a 4:45 reservation and mostly empty restaurant we got the worse 2 person table right next to a pantry so the noise from the servers was too much. Wine came after the soup, which for me, was undesirable. Generally inattentive server. Steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great.

The only thing I'd change is to understand the meaning of “your plate is 500 degrees.” Not for being hot, but knowing my steak is going to continue to cook. If you want the steak to come medium-well, order it medium. My petite steak was delicious along with the creamy spinach. The cheese cake is light and pairs well with the Willamette Valley Pinot Nior.

Food was excellent but I believe compared to one year ago their prices went up. This was a special event. Service was good with one mistake (not too bad) my drink delivered to the wrong table. If you want an excellent meal go to Ruth Chris.

My filet minion was fabulous as always. However, my husband's petite filet was sub-par. He should have sent it back to the kitchen. However, overall, I and the rest of our guests enjoyed their meals. The waiter, while very polite, could have been much more attentive. For example, we are Ruth's Chris regulars and specifically asked for our steaks to come sizzling. However, when the plates were served, they were not sizzling. We did ask to have that rectified and it was. We finished our main course and ordered desserts. However, we needed to ask the waiter to clear our table crumbs and residue which he did, but we normally don't need to ask for. Finally, the waiter had to be reminded to bring our take out dish. This somewhat disappointing level of service is unusual for Ruth's Chris. So we will definitely be back...
