Lascala's Fire Villanova

Came here with the family and was immediately greeted with a sign that says a 3.5% fee would be charged for using a credit card and explained it was due to the high cost of food. It really is because they want you to cover the merchants cost of using a credit card, not very pleasing. They sign also said they have an ATM to withdraw cash to avoid this fee. NOT very convenient for a customer. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. The food on the other hand was very bland all around, almost no seasoning in the sauces. Food Staff is phenomenal! Our favorite place for lunch dinner. They never disappoint with service or dishes. Yummy! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Beware that on your receipt at the end of the night they will advertise a 3.5% discount to pay in cash which in reality means they are adding an additional surcharge on credit card payments. Restaurant management doesn 't understand that people are more apt to spend more when using credit versus cash. Food is fine but does appear to be pre-cooked and prepared. Likely frozen.

Love the bar here! Chad is the best bartender!! Totally personable and attentive. Drinks are great and food is too! Thank you for such great service!
