Le refuge - Villard-sur-Doron

Great place for skiing in a sunny day. Sit outside and admire the landscape. Experienced restaurant with typical mountain food at reasonable prices. Works both inside and outside, but hard working helpful staff.

The lunch was very good and the service super! They serve typical food from the Savoie but also regular French food. The view is very nice and in wintertime just at the slopes.

Great choice of dishes served by very friendly staff in a comfortable environment. I had the Tartiflette very generous portion but tasty and ideal fare after a long day on the slopes! It was accompanied by a large plate of charcuterie. My son had...the duck, it was succulent and had been cooked exactly as he ordered it. My husband had the fillet steak in Le Refuge sauce an excitingly different dish tasting of garlic and peppercorns. Delicious! Choice of wine was adequate but served a little on the chilly side. We are in the Alps, so they can be forgiven for that..... Le Refuge serves the best vin chaud in the Espace Diamont and the Ginepi flows freely. We always have a warm welcome from the terrific owners, who thankfully speak much better English than our French!

En vacances en famille sur les Saisies, j'ai consulté TripAdvisor avant de porter notre choix sur Le Refuge.Je cherchais un restaurant ou l'accueil et l'assiette sont simplement bon.C'est justement ce que l'on à trouvé dans ce restaurant d'altitude ou la carte proposée ( juste comme il faut ) met en avant des plats maîtrisés avec des bons produits .Voilà une belle soirée en famille avec un bon dîner ... simplement .

Un petit resto en famille pour fêter 2 anniversaires avec un personnel très agréable et aux petits soins et un repas de qualité copieux et goûteux sans excès de prix.Bravo !
