The chicken was overcooked and didn't seem to have much seasoning on it. The rice pilaf, baklava, and others sides were very good.If it were cheaper, I probably wouldn't have had any issue but it ended up being around $70 for two meals and a side. I have had better kebobs for half the price. If I do eat here again I would likely try a different entree.
I love eating at the Olive Branch when I visit Cape May. My table ordered the flash fried halibut and lobster tail, grilled octopus, lamb shank, chop chop mad Greek salad, and the mussels saganaki. Every component of each dish, right down to the feta and the rice pilaf, was perfect. Beverly was a sweetheart and told us about the family history of the restaurant. It's a beautiful place, perfect for a date night or group gathering. If you can't go to Greece, The Olive Branch will transport you there with their food.
The food was amazing! Service was even better. I can not remember when we have such attentive service. Simply the best! Our dinners were cooked to perfection. Salmon fresh and light. Veal chop was wonderful. The lamb shank was perfect. The feta and watermelon salad was a perfect presentation.
What a secret! A stones throw from CM. GREAT service, spinach dip amazing with fried pita!
My fiancé and I stopped at this restaurant on a whim once, not knowing what to expect. I wasn't even that hungry when we stopped so I didn't expect to eat much. However as soon as we ordered an appetizer I knew I had to try more. And despite not being super hungry, I made myself try more and ended up eating so much! We fell in love with this little spot, and have driven all of the way from Philly to eat there a few times! Definitely definitely definitely worth a trip!
