Restaurant La Playa - Villeneuve-Loubet

We were able to book 2 beach chairs at this nice beach club/restaurant. The beach beds are close together but that is what's on offer in the area. They were comfortable and there are a couple guys walking around, taking drink/food orders, and making sure you are comfortable. We were not front row but it was a short walk to the water be sure to bring either water shoes or flip flops, the rocks are killers to walk on. The water is clear and clean and just lovely. We also got a table here for lunch, great menu and food! I had the octopus salad and my daughter had an asian noodle dish and a smoothie. the desserts looked excellent, unfortunately too full to try any, but they looked great. It was a super day at La Playa, we would return!

Very nice service, friendly stuff, nice atmosphere, good choice of wines, very good food definitely worth the price.

Very nice and cosy restaurant in front of the sea. Excellent food and large meals. We tried various dishes and desserts as well as the cafe gourmand, they were all delicious!

Super friendly and knowledgeable service, vert good food and a super menu. Perfect location on the beach. Expensive wine but the whole experience, very good indeed.

Went for diner last night with a friend. The setting was beautiful. But we were less impressed to see any of the waiters wearing their masks over their mouths and noses but around their necks... The service was very slow and unprofessional, the menu was varied with a touch of thai cuisine. Unfortunately my steak was burnt, was told how it should be. Wine arrived well after we had started eating. And asking for the bill seemed to be nobody’s business so we could have left without paying. So we went to the bar to be told that the waitress had to edit the bill first. She did with a huff and a puff so we left without leaving a tip. Sorry guys but you beed to up your service
