Very disappointed l was really looking forward to an Indian meal as it’s something l really enjoy in the UK We tried to order some Poppadums but we’re told they didn’t do them so l was surprised to see on another review on here that the reviewer had enjoyed Poppadums with various sauces The mixed starter was Onion Bhaji, Fried Eggplant, and Samosa. The Samosa was good, the egg plant flavourless, and the Onion Bhaji was Onion rings We ordered a stuffed Paratha and got a Naan bread which was a bit odd as we had ordered a Garlic Naan bread and that came so why they thought we wouldn’t spot that they were the same was beyond me The sauces for the curries were good but the meat tasted like it had been cooked and then added to the sauce just before serving, there was no flavour take up. Won’t be going there again
Beautiful interior and a warm Welcome ... we’re off to a great start! Popadoms and a chutney tray whilst perusing the menu. We chose the mixed starter ... the waitress was very honest and said we would only need one main to share if we were having the mixed starter ... she wasn’t wrong and we appreciated her giving us the heads up ... the mixed starter consisted of tender Lamb, Onion Bhaji, Shish kebab, Aubergine fritter, Fish pakora and Chicken tikka. Each and every part of this dish was cooked to perfection! (Priced at 22 Euros). We shared (as advised) a chicken rogan josh, pilau rice and a garlic naan! Every mouthful was delicious! The bill was just over 55 Euro! Friendly service and most of al honest from the starter!
We visited this restaurant twice this week as it was so good. The staff are excellent especially the waitress and the wine waitress. We can not recommend this enough. Fantastic.
We took advantage of a walk to the marina to stop in this restaurant first attracted by its decoration and budha, in reservation we pleasantly surprised to have a table! On the advice of the waitress we were able to taste grilled and its salad raita then the children were able to taste for the first time a dish in sauce and they loved! We finished on the famous Indian ice the kulfi •••
