Waitiki - Villeneuve-Loubet

We were told the food was very good here but the service wasn't. Wrong the food was disgusting but the waitress was good and very nice. It was expensive too!

We were recommended to go there as the food was great but the service not so much. Our experience was the complete opposite as the staff were good but the food not so much. Menu selection was poor but we thought that might allow for good quality food but alas not.

We had a few salads and some tartare. Food was okay. But the service was absolutely appalling. The guy was angry throughout the entire seating. There is no way you should be allowed to service people at a restaurant if you treat them like this. Please fire him, almost bald muscular guy wearing sunglasses.

Was waiting here for another customer to one of our business associates (fine place to hang out). While waiting we wanted a cold beer, but this could only be done if we had some food there as well. The waiter suggested that the three of us shared a fritto miste, and as we did not had had any lunch, this sounded like a good idea. The beer (long awaited) came very fast, and a steaming hot plate of fritto miste arrived five minutes later. The fried fisk, cuttlefish, octopus, and shrimps were quite good, even though not all of it was fresh catch. It was very nice sitting here in the shadow (business attire on a hot summer day) looking at the beach and the sea and with an observant and helpful service, this was quite a pleasant experience, far better than I had expected form a beach place in a very touristy area.

Do a favor your self come to Waitiki. This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is really friendly and funny. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Francesco the owner is a master piece of this place he give a lot of advice. Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Zuppa di cozze and tagliolini alle vongole the best of nice definitely all week here thanks Waitiki thanks Francesco
