Balzac - Vilnius

I've been to Balzac in the past with family and/or friends, and have always had a great experience. Last weekend we celebrated my wife's 50th birthday there. The food was great, and the service was even better. We were a party of 20 guests, so the challenge of preparing a large amount of appetizers and 20 main courses had to be difficult, but the Balzac chef and staff did a wonderful job! The food was terrific. The tuna tartar and frog legs were tasty starters, followed by duck confit or Dorado as the main course. Top notch! The star of the evening was Balzac's creme brûlée. Simply addictive! What surprised me the most though was the service level. These days that can be difficult to find, but we found it. The head waiter was in complete sync with the kitchen. Everything was timed perfectly, and every single one of our requests was addressed. If you want to experience some great French food with great service and atmosphere, Balzac is a very good choice. By far the best French restaurant in Vilnius.

Great place! The lunch of the day is an incredible deal! Great food, nice atmosphere and service was genuinely fantastic!
