Pilies Katpedele - Vilnius

Excellent place. Great local beer. The waitress was super nice, kind and friendly. She spoke fluently English. I asked for local beer and it came out perfect. I asked which brand was it and she told me they make it themselves. I warmly recommend. The fries weren't so good and I had to wait quite a lot to get them.

Very disappointing. My main course was swimming in oil. Also my wife's main course didn't arrive until several minutes after I had finished mine. Three times we tried to speak to waiters but each time we were told they couldn't help us and we'd have to speak to the waitress instead problem was she was absolutely nowhere to be seen, and we had to walk around the whole restaurant in search of her. In a nutshell, the service is amongst the worst I have seen in any restaurant, and I have visited over 35 countries. Thankfully there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafés in Vilnius that we found avoid this one.

This was the worst experience ever. I got my appetizer 15 minutes after my friends got their. Then they brought my main in the same time. So my main was cold. My friend didn’t get her main. Nobody apologized and the waiter said it was not their fault. Then she said it was kitchens fault…

Best ice cream in Vilnius! (Pistachio ice cream is a must try) Otherwise, the interior was luxurious and warm. The service was a little slow since only one barista was working at the time, but definitely worth the wait.

Having a pistachio muffin and a flat white, which was unfortunatelly too bland, watery. At least the beans they use are good. Desserts, as usual, really good.
