Like to go to this hospitable. eating is always fresh and tasty prepared, besides the normal menu there are also seasonal dishes, great salatbuffet, good bourgeois Sunday card, and the service is always super nice and friendly.

Fantastic german restaurant, delicious food great service

Best German Restaurant in the area hands down. Sitting on their street seating in summer, drinking beers with friends all afternoon then having creamy garlic soup, flavourful cucumber salad and steak with mushrooms is possibly the closest thing to heaven on earth. The Hammer Family really knows how to host!

A great German Dinner in downtown Vilseck, Germany. This is an inexpensive restaurant that has great schnitzel. Beer and schnitzel for what a great deal. They offer a side and a trip to the salad bar as well. Staff is quick, locals and military eat here, they are the only establishment I am aware of that accepts debit cards to pay ... Which is a huge bonus. But this is not a fancy or upscale place. This is a neighborhood establishment to have a hearty meal and good time. They stay open late, and are worth the try.
