Everything is house made, flavorful, beautifully plated. Portions just right! We ordered a completo thali plate which includes an app, a main and dessert. More than enough and so satisfying. I wish this place was in Santiago but more of a reason to come back to Viña.
Very good place in Viña for Indian food. They only make four dishes per day; two with meat and two vegetarian. The day we were there they had butter chicken, rogan josh chicken, mushrooms with peas and curried cauliflower. We tried the rogan josh and the mushrooms. Both were very tasty, their sauces distinctly different and their spices a welcome change from the usual Chilean fare. Your entree comes on a divided plate with two sauces and a nice portion of rice. You also get a piece of naan. The prices are reasonable (compared to other Indian places in Viña, this one does NOT charge extra for the rice) but I did feel the portions were small. The mushrooms and peas, for instance, were pretty skimpy, considering that these are not expensive ingredients. The chicken was a nice-sized portion. For dessert, the carrot pudding was a disappointment but the cardamom ice cream--made by the chef, we were told--was out-of-this-world delicious and the high point of the meal. If you try the chai you will find it is only a very strong Earl Gray, there weren 't any additional spices in it and it was served black, unlike the chai I have had in other (US-based) Indian restaurants.
It is a very good option for a weekend lunch. Food is of good quality, and people are very friendly. Your comfortable lunch menus make choice easier.
