Beautiful tea rooms located at the back of a charming gift shop. A hidden gem, we opted for the Devonshire scones from a diverse selection, particularly enjoying the ginger flavors. The delightful raspberry jam was a perfect accompaniment. The tea menu was extensive, and we also tried the Belgian chocolate coffee. Overall, it was a refreshing and enjoyable experience with welcoming and friendly staff.
Located in the back of a Hamptons-style gift shop is a charming area where you can enjoy Devonshire Tea or opt for a more substantial meal if you prefer.
My 3 daughters and I went there recently for a Devonshire tea, it was for my daughters birthday. It was lovely but considering it cost $32/head for, 4 little triangle sandwiches, lovely, a little quiche each, a scone each, cut in half with jam, nice and a couple of the little tiny cupcakes each and a little caramel tart each and hot tea... it was exorbitant! Don't get me wrong, we were full but the price, is it just me or is this a fair price? To top it off, none of the staff wished her a happy birthday! She was wearing a badge and it was obvious it was her birthday... just thought for the price you pay the staff could have been a bit more friendly and said happy birthday at least...
Thank you ladies for lovely service, beautiful scones and tea, with a nice quiet place to sit away from the chaos of life. I highly recommend this tea shop and gift shop.
