This spot aint really my jam. It took 20 minutes for a server to take our drink order. The food took even longer, and it was mediocre. The atmosphere is stuck in the old days as it's smoky as heck inside which made me wanna run out the door. I only stayed cause my Mom likes their fish. Also old country music playing the entire time. As I said, not my kinda place, but if you're a boot scootin boogie type of chain smoking person, you'll love it.
This place is a bar that serves food. Patrons are smoking inside. I wouldn't recommend bringing children here to eat.
I'd describe this place as a local waterin hole that has alot of regulars. But you're treated friendly and welcomed even if you're a newby to the place. It really has a classic 1960-70s feel, but also has a jukebox you can download the app to use! It has darts and pool tables as well. I've seen people playing pool almost every time I've been. I've mostly seen middle aged working class white people, but all people seem welcome. On the weekends the crowd diversity is far greater, young and old, etc. The food is pretty good, the fish being the best I've tasted all around. They used to have a rather large cod filet dinner which has shrunk since going through covid, but it's still very good and the cost hasn't increased by much if any, unlike other places.Parking: On the weekends in the evening you might have to walk a little ways from your spot, but there is plenty of parking, they just get busy. Worth the little walk.
Great place to eat service is absolutely fantastic prices are definitely reasonable when the atmosphere is fantastic if you're going alone or with a family.Food: 5/5
