Lake House - Vineland

Since this was our second time at Lakehouse, we were excited to go back. It certainly has not disappointed . Our server Chris was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our conversation with him. Our choices for our meal were excellent and can really recommend the Braised beef. So juicy and delicious with two vegetables and cauliflower purée. My husband had the Chicken Supreme and also found it very tasty, the chicken was beautiful and damp. We had the baked bride as our appetizer with beautiful bread basket. It was a nice meal and so much enjoyed. Thanks Lakehouse for another great date!

Good service, friendly staff. I thought the portions were too large. I left about 1/3 on the plate. Smaller portions at a lower price would be a good option!

Enjoyed our lunch with friends, always tasty, setting lovely, staff knowledgeable and I would return. One member of our group is celiac and has antidotally it seems the attention to being able to provide gluten free options has decreased significantly. Soups do not need to be thickened with flour there are many other options. Similarly, items to baste beef or other items does not need to contain gluten. The substitutions to the basic items may cost slightly more however, the pricing here is on the high side of fair (for lunch) AND they charge significantly for a gluten free bun or pasta. Don't get me wrong, there were some options (burgers, salads) however some things that should have been a possibility, were not, due to chef ingredient choice.
