The food was extremely expensive and bland beyond belief. The portions, thank goodness, were tiny. And get this: I gave the waitress a 12.5% tip, because the service was just so-so, and the woman actually came to the table and asked for a bigger tip! I couldn't believe it. This place was a waste of time and money. What a disaster.
We had a great experience. Wonderful food, very attentive and helpful. We needed vegan options and also gluten free options and they were able to accommodate both with quite a few options. The gluten free Saffron Chicken was amazing and the vegan vegetable curry was also very good. We had a wonderful dinner and it was under $40. Can't wait to go back.
Really second rate experience. The food was so so, but what nailed it was the extra charge on our tab when we asked them to spice up one of the dishes. We had tried the place once shortly after it opened. At that time the food was dreadful, but for convenience (the other Indian was in Bonita at the time since moved to North Naples), we thought to give Saffron another chance. We won't be back!
THE single most amazing Indian Restaurant I have ever been to! The food is absolutely amazing, with delicious spices and sauces. My wife and I discovered Saffron in August and we have been every week since! DO NOT HESITATE TO TRY IT, even if you have never eaten Indian-style food. And if you have, then you MUST try Saffron; the chef has his own twist on each dish and having tried 6 different ones, I can say they are all delicious! What great cooking and so close to our home. We will keep going back week after week. The prices are also very good! Thanks.
