We enjoyed watching the Dover sole being filleted tableside, which added to the dining experience. The onion soup and crab ravioli appetizers were delicious. The rack of venison was incredibly tender. However, the creme brulee was a bit too soupy for our liking. Our favorite dish was the panna cotta with passion fruit gelee - it's a must-try!
We dine at this restaurant a couple of times a year, but this time we went for lunch instead of dinner. We were not disappointed! I ordered the prix fixe lunch menu and was impressed with the dinner rolls cooked in duck fat and perfectly cooked fish. The strawberry mousse was good, but I should have stuck with my usual favorite dessert, the amazing creme brulee. The staff was attentive but not overly intrusive. The prices are slightly high, but the quality of the food is outstanding. After our meal, we explored the gift shop and unique bar, purchasing some preserves. We will definitely be returning in the future.
