Aldo's - Virginia Beach

This was the best experience I've had at a restaurant in this category. The level of service is truly exceptional. Our waitress, Vivian, was incredibly attentive. When I went to the restroom, a waiter (whose name I regret not catching) even opened the door for me. These small gestures reflect the excellent teamwork and pride the staff takes in their work. The Lamb Rosmarina and the calamari were both perfect. We ended on a high note with some of the finest coconut cake I’ve ever tasted.

The food was outstanding; every dish left us in awe. Even our Italian friend gave everything a thumbs up! We also had to change our reservation last minute, and the staff made it so easy. Our table was set and ready for us when we arrived, and every employee we encountered was so pleasant. After a long day of driving, dealing with some car trouble, and just a generally stressful time, Aldo's was exactly what we needed. This outing turned into the perfect excuse to dress up and satisfy our pasta cravings. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to return (or at least order takeout)! Thank you for making our day so great!

The waitstaff was incredibly attentive, and the ambiance was lovely! The food was absolutely delicious, and the turnaround time for our order was impressively quick! It was my first time dining here, and I truly enjoyed it. Plus, the extensive wine selection and dessert menu were great additions! I was thoroughly impressed!

Absolutely a great experience. Great service and good portions of food. The Pascatore was delicious. Also enjoyed the coconut cake. I can't wait to go back.

The experience was first class all the way! Great service and waitstaff. Excellent food prep. All entrees were served at the proper temperature. Ordered beet salad, ceasar salad, foccacia flatbread, chicken parm, puttanesca, and dessert. Strongly recommend the foccacia and beet salad (if you like beets). Last, but certainly not least, it was a very serene atmosphere. No televisions in the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise! It's a 40-minute trip for us, nevertheless, we will be back!
