Clayton's - Virginia Beach

I have been religiously going to Clayton?s recently and have yet to have a bad meal or service. The staff are phenomenal and the food is just as phenomenal. I have literally had everything on their menu now and it is all amazing. If you go for brunch I highly recommend their chicken and waffles. For a while I always thought Bay Local had the best chicken and waffles in VB? not anymore. Clayton?s easily wins that battle. If you?re skeptical, go try them, you?ll understand.

Ease check this place out! It was so delicious! I got a meatloaf sandwich and the meat was so tender it fell apart when I picked up the sandwich. Everything is smoked in house and all of the sauces are home made. Definitely my favorite place to go and grab a sandwich or burger.

This place is clean and people were friendly. But hope you liked smoked meat cause that's almost all they have there except for the Italian grinder. Didn't care for the chicken salad made with smoked chicken and wanted iced tea which they didn't have. Plenty of other drinks. Had brunch on Sunday.

I had a Reuben sandwich and it was fantastic-not overloaded with sauerkraut and perfectly smoked pastrami! I would have given this place a 6-star. The service was super friendly too. I?ve heard they offer brunch on the weekends, I?d love to try that soon too. I?ll update the review after that.

My wife and I went to Clayton's based a on recommendation's from several people we met at a nearby distillery. They were raving about it so I went with high expectations. I was not disappointed. My wife and I split the Italian grinder and I have to say it was the best sandwich I've ever had. I was born in Brooklyn and have had many sandwiches in Jewish deli's, Clayton's would be an instant favorite even in the highly competitive NY market. Cant wait to go through the rest
