El Azteca - Virginia Beach

We came here for dinner and got the chicken fajitas and the fajita quesadilla. It wasn’t too flavorful, but the rice was good. Our waitress was attentive, but seemed very tired or upset. The portions were a little smaller than I have seen before, and overall the food isn’t really notable at all. The place itself is okay, but not very suitable for large parties.

Typical Mexican spot. Great service. We enjoyed the molcajete. More than fair prices. Normal dining room for a Mexican restaurant. Like a lot of the Mexican places you find in strip shopping centers, but this one is above average. We'll be back.

10/18/23 Came by for lunch, 6.99 for cheese dip, 17.99 for chicken fajitas, 2.99 for ice tea, and 1.99 for extra tortillas. The salsa was good but the chip were old. The cheese dip came out warm not hot. The server was not around a bunch. The fajita dinner was good, I will say that. I was done and was waiting for the server but finally just went to the register. I will not be back to this location. It did nothing for me.

Was my go to Mexican when I lived in the area. Chicken soft tacos and churros good.

The place is good and the employees are very friendly. I went with my husband for his birthday and they sang happy birthday, thank you very much to everyone.
