Nona's Italian Kitchen - Virginia Beach

This place is a must to visit all for Nonna and their cuisine! We stumbled on the place while driving through Virginia Beach and so happy we did. The food is excellent and all freshly prepared. Nonna threw in delicious garlic knots for our family. The room inside is also really beautiful. It was great to learn about Nonna's history and how it came to own a restaurant. Because of the pandemic, however, she struggles to remain open. It would be a real shame if this place closes, so please go out and support them if you can.

By far the best Italian I've ever eaten. Everything is fresh to order. Started with a free order of garlic knots, which were slightly crisp and soft on the inside, non-dry or chewing. Then we had the Bruschetta with roasted Ciabatta bread wonderfully spiced and not hard as these Bagel chip things. We had three different dishes, and we smeared each other. Mostacciolo, Penne a la vodka and Stuffed Shells Florentine. You were absolutely delicious. We have fled from our comfort zone and try new places to eat the beaten way. I'm so glad I found this place. The staff is wonderfully pleasant and answers all our questions. We will definitely go back and recommend Nonas Italian cuisine for everyone I speak with. Love it.

I have eaten in this restaurant and ordered them at least once a week for more than 10 years as was fresh crust before it became Nona's and I probably did not stop. Most friendly staff ever, they remember many of their customers, excellent family atmosphere, always number 1 service. It is the best food for Italian cuisine and home cooking in this area! I wouldn't trade it for anything else Best Garlic Knots

Ging tonight for dinner before our concert and I must say the food was AMAZING and Nona was super sweet, even came out to talk to us and make sure our food was great. Best Tiramisu ever, garlic knot, hearty portions, cheeseries only everything was on point. Definitely the next time on vacation will return! Don't forget to try the ranch!

If you are looking for delicious home-made Italian food and amazing customer service, this is the spot!! The pizza and pasta were heavenly and we can’t wait to come back again to try other dishes. The garlic knots were crispy and had the perfect amount of garlic sauce along with the marinara sauce(it’s free . The stuffed shells Florentine had ricotta cheese and spinach that melt in your mouth. The hostess/ waitress was very helpful with recommending dishes to try.
