Most of the restaurants are great. Wongs is NOT one of them! I was told 10 min. to wait for food...took nearly 25 to receive it! Got a very little amount of chicken and 1 pack each of soy and duck sauce...1 pack!! Charged $18.00 twice what I usually pay for sesame chicken elsewhere, but this is a tourist locale. Regardless, I highly suggest you spend your money elsewhere.
Unenjoyable flavor and consistency of food items. Family-sized amount of food ordered yet my whole family was let down; we normally do enjoy Chinese takeout. Some of the items were burned and inedible, while others were just lacking any amount of flavor. I'd hate to compare it to the microwavable items from the frozen food section in the grocery store, however that's the closest comparison I can give you, as a reviewer. I kindly asked for a refund yet was refused. Wong's is a big No from us. Never again.
Came here for a small get a way and wanted some good Chinese food. Looked at the reviews and they really let me down. I don't know if I should even eat the food. I ordered egg foo young my gravy is like transparent as if it's like a soup or so I'm very disappointed
4 years ago I would have given this place a 5 star. Now... definitely not! You need to rethink how you do your sweet and sour sauce because that watered down, pink stuff ain't it! Also, the crab rangoon was DISAPPOINTING. Tasted SO weird and not traditional. The chicken dishes had one piece of chicken and the rest was practically celery. EWW! Literally everyone I know thought that was really weird. No A/C for the customers dining in while it it was almost 90 degrees outside while charging those prices seemed greedy to me as well.
As a filipino who cooks rice regularly, the white rice that came with my food was probably the worst white rice I've had and I have a friend who served me Uncle Ben's quick rice. The dumplings were good but that was pretty much the only good part of it. Our general Tso's and Shrimp with broccoli were way overcooked.
