Yamachen's Sushi - Virginia Beach

You need the Sashimi reviewer!!! It comes with chefs selection of fish and let me tell you the White Thun was the best surprise!!! So delicate, subtle sweet ocean taste; Back to JAPAN! The mix soup was delicious, seaweed salad was fresh and delicious, perfectly prepared. But the Yama role was a certain great one, everyone bites better than the last. Please take my word and get what the boss and waitress recommend. I always come back!!! Update, I only ate the dessert, it was the chocolate chip Moshi and it was so good that it made my toes curls!

This place is a hidden jewel! After we drove around the city on Saturday night and were looking for a place to eat that had an hour plus waiting time, we stumbled over this beautiful restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding a good choice. Your food is nothing less amazing. I have sushi around the world and this is far one of the best experiences I had. I recommend you get the family.

This place is amazing. The food was great and everyone was so nice. I loved all Geisha dolls in the restaurant. We will definitely come back!

Great service and sushi here in Yama Chens Sushi Bar/Lynnhaven Mall location. I am very selective about the quality of my sushi and Yama not disappointed. I like that the tuna and salmon rolls have fresh fish, and it doesn't taste like left-over meat/attacks from the night before. Prices are average here, for excellent quality sushi. I am now officially a regular customer and order here every week. Great customer service from all employees. 10/13/22. I still love Yamaking Sushi. I always take out, so I can't vouche for a meal in experience. To get out, YamaChen Sushi is excellent, and the only bad topics I've read are the volcanic rolls that come out too greasy (I wouldn't know because I wouldn't order volcanic rolls). Give them an attempt when you are someone who is picky about their quality of sushi. ...but if you are a volcano roller lover, don't ask em to make em so greasy, and see what you get. Look...

I ordered the golden shrimp, king crab and dancing sushi for pickup. Everything was so delicious and definitely would order again. I was surprised they even placed a cheese cake in my bag on house.
