The Dream Cycle was the best cream ale I’ve ever had. Pineapple Grenade was solid too.
As a veteran I always find a reason to support veteran owned companies and let me tell you the YVBC is top notch! The pineapple grenade was my favorite, while dream cycle was a close second . The others were all great beers, nothing I tried was disappointing. Night Vision was by far the most interesting as I’m not a fan of dark beers but this one was way different than expected, with a hint of cold brew coffee. The atmosphere is perfect for triggering all those memories I hold fondly of my time in service to this country! The sign at the bar is oddly familiar “hurry up and wait here” absolutely spectacular. Not to mention the artwork is top notch at make fun of everything the military holds dear. This is a MUST VISIT for everyone! Especially military!Almost forgot the young lady behind the counter, she was most helpful and had a great personality. Although I didn’t catch her name, a military service dress name tag would be most appropriate! The only aspect that I would suggest is they find a veteran owned food truck or trailer to park out front and provide food that is paired to each beer’s flavors and market the shared aspect. Also there is merch, cans and growlers available for sale.
Beer, atmosphere, outside seating, and location to Vets Stadium make this place great. The gas smell that is inside the building brought it from a 5 to a 3. So, grab a beer and sit outside! Come on Army dudes...call some engineers and fix that S smell!
Went here for dinner and the service was great and the beers were great. We ordered the Buffalo shrimp, it was so good. I didn't love their hot chicken sandwich, I didn't think it was hot at all! My husband ordered the seafood pasta, he liked that!
