Tried Zoup! for the first time this evening, and unfortunately wasn’t impressed. I ordered the ‘really good chicken noodle soup,” as well as the chicken pot pie soup. Both were Luke warm and heavily processed. My sandwich was also missing some ingredients. Many other soup and salad places around that offer higher quality food at the same price point, in my opinion.
First timer and this place is delicious. You get to sample all the soups before making a purchase. I would recommend this place for its soup.
This is one of those places that I want to like. I have been several times in my effort to love this place. Unfortunately it just falls short of similar places in the area. aside from the pleasant staff) The sandwiches are thin. By thin, I mean 2 thin cuts of folded meat, with overly thin tomatoes/veggies. The cooking process leaves the bread with a microwaved texture. Most of the soups are decent, but again lacking enough ingredients to make them much more than flavored broth. Zoup is expensive. I do not mind paying, but I do not feel they give food that justifies the price. $41.00 minus tip for 2 bowls of soup and 2 whole sandwiches)
Today's lunch was one of the best I've had in a long time. CT should truly be jealous of this beachtown gem. Thank you ladies!!
