I've been coming here since I was 20, and that was 7 years ago. I drove through traffic hour just to have some churrasco, but they were out of a few menu items and I can't blame them with everything that's going on. I treated my dad and boyfriend to a MOUNTAIN of a meal. We got bistec empanizado with rice and beans and platanitos; a beer, soda, coffee, all for $42... FORTY-TWO! That's just a steal for the amount of food we had and we're able to take home. Also, this lady is a BOSS. At first we were the only 3 in this tiny place. Then 4 more guys showed up and the entire bar top was full. She was the only one working and was able to make FRESH breading for our steaks, it wasn't made in advance, she whipped up coffees, sandwiches and other hot entrees. It was crazy! I love this place so much, it's the only Cuban food I'll ever crave.
The food was amazing, and the service was fantastic. My fiancé and I are in love with the Cuban sandwich, and the pan con lechon. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are in town!
The place is small with only the counter for seating, but the food was good, the prices were very reasonable, and the owner, Rami, was very nice. I had fried chicken (ask for the spicy sauce to make it even better), beans and rice, and plantains. Food hit my craving for good Cuban food without fake atmosphere. I also bought cuatros leches for dessert. My total meal plus a canned ice tea was $15! I asked Rami if this was correct because it seemed too low, but he said the bill was correct. I will plan to come here again!
I don't have enough good things to say about this place. We can fly in, grab a quick lunch and fly out. Owner is super nice and the food is absolutely delicious!!!
